International Flights

How to find a flight into Russia

Due to sanctions direct flights to Russia are banned from most countries, including the US.  You must fly into a country that still has flights into Russia.

Turkey and Serbia are the most common routes.  Separate flights will need to be booked.

First to a Russian friendly country.

Second from friendly country into Russia.

I suggest going to Serbia and flying Air Serbia.

Helpful tips:

If you have checked luggage you will need to be processed through passport control, they will stamp you into Serbia.  Next you will retrieve and re-check your luggage with the new airline.  Once you have your boarding passes, you will go back through passport control and stamp out of the country then pass through security.
